Vickie is an intermediate knitting pattern made using size 10 ½ needles.  The pattern calls for approximately 150 yards of the white(w) triple ply wool yarn, 50 yards of black(b) triple ply wool yarn for the body spots face ears and hooves, 20 yards of gray(g) triple ply yarn for the bottoms of hooves and approximately 10 yards of light brown for the horns. The pattern is worked mainly in stockinette stitch, intarsia, I-cord stitch and short rows.  The knit side is the right side.  Latch-hook technique can be used to add long locks to the body if desired.  Simple chain stitching is used to make the horns.
