This is an intermediate pattern that uses stockinette stitch, short rows, simple embroidery (French Knots), and straight stitches.  The pattern is worked on size 3 needles with approximately 160, yards of sport weight lavender wool yarn, approximately 75 yards sport weight dark purple wool yarn, approximately 40 yards of pale peach worsted weight yarn, 6 yards of light beige yarn in a worsted weight yarn, approximately 6 yards of yellow yarn and scarps of black yarn for the iris. The suckers are created with a variety of yarn weights, from sport weight, worsted weight and bulky weight wool yarns.  This pattern is not fulled after completion.
