Lauralie the Seahorse is an intermediate pattern. The main body is worked in sport weight wool yarn on size 3 needles. The fins are worked on size 0 needles in garter stitch. Light Aqua (La)150 yards, and dark Aqua(Dk) 75 yards. This pattern is worked in stockinette stitch, garter stitch, short rows, and I-cord stitch. 3 fibers of Gold embroidery floss can be added to add gold flecks to the finished seahorse if desired. Simple chain stitching is used for detail work after the body is completed.
