The Louie/Fargus pattern is and intermediate pattern, knitted using heavy weight 3 ply wool, on size 10 ½ needles. I used a size 4mm crochet hook with chain stitch, single crochet stitches to make the nose piece. The size or your finished animal will be determined by the weight of wool you use. Longhorn color patterns vary from animal to animal. I have not included color changes.
