This is an intermediate pattern designed to be used with an oval plastic ice cream tub.  This pattern is worked with a heavy weight triple ply wool yarn on size 10 ½ needles, and is worked in stockinette stitch.  I used 75 yards of brown(b) llama yarn, and 25 yards of white(w) llama yarn.  I also used approximately 15 yards of white wool yarn for the base.  This pattern also uses a pair of size 12 mm eyes, and 6 pipe cleaners twisted together to support the neck.  You will also use a #16 embroidery needle and a medium size crochet hook for details.  Purl side is the right side.  You will need to drill holes 1/4 in holes in the top of the plastic container, just under the rim, approximately every 1 inch around the entire top to allow you to sew the body in place.
