This pattern an advanced pattern, worked in stockinette stitch, intarsia technique, short rows, I-cord, and some beginning crochet stitches. The size of your finished animal may vary depending on the size yarn that your choose, and the size needles. I use a heavy weight 3 ply yarn, or 2 strands of regular weight wool and size 10 ½ needles. My Tony is worked with 120 yards of medium brown, and 50 yards of dark brown, and approximately 40 yards of tan. Directions for color changes are indicated by Dark brown in bold.
