This is an intermediate pattern, worked in feltable heavy weight wool yarn on size 10 ½ circular needles. This pattern is worked in stockinette stitch, intarsia, I-cord, and short rows. Latch hook technique and simple chain stitching are also used for detail work. The purl side will be the right side. This pattern uses 190 yards of heavy weight brown (br), 70 yards of heavy weight black(B) optional 15 yards of red and 5 yards of beige. The finished project is then fulled.  You will need a #16 embroidery needle or similar needle, and size 8 crochet hook. Heavy weight gauge- 3 st per inch /5 rows per inch.
